Here are some things to keep in mind when considering a rental bike from Cape Cod Harley-Davidson.
A motorcycle license is required to operate a Harley-Davidson rental. However, a non licensed person can rent a Harley-Davidson for a licensed rider as long as they both are at Cape Cod Harley at the time of the rental.
Any passenger that is going to ride on the bike must sign a liability release form and therefore must come to Cape Cod Harley-Davidson at the time the rental is picked up.
The sooner you make your reservation the more likely we are to have the bike you want. Once a reservation is made we ask to be notified of any change in your plans as soon as possible.
Be aware a reservation cancellation will constitute a $25 fee for every day the reservation was in place. There will also be a $50 charge for no-shows and same day cancellations. This will be strictly enforced so please be sure of your dates before you make a reservation.
All of our bikes come with basic liability insurance coverage, this does not cover the cost of any damage to the motorcycle in any way. we also offer additional insurances for your added security.
When you pick up your rental bike we will require a $2000 security deposit as well as a hold on the account for the estimated total of the rental. Neither amount is withdrawn from your account it is simply held in order to ensure the appropriate balance at the time the rental is returned.

**It is recommended that everyone checks with their own insurance company to verify that they are covered for a rental motorcycle. 98% of all policies do not transfer to rental bikes!
Supplemental Liability coverage = $13.00 / daily
